The hotel is the start point for many trails that invite you to explore the beautiful nature park with Nordic walking, trekking or jogging. Outside the hotel you will find signs that inform you on the directions and length of particular trekking and Nordic walking routes.
Many kilometers of cycle paths meander through the Altmühl Valley and invite you to the beautiful surroundings. No matter whether you go biking in the valley or up the slopes in the nature park, the hotel is the right start point. You can rent a mountain bike at the hotel from May till October. Refund deposit required.

Altmühl Valley Adventure Park
Here you will discover a climbing park with numerous parcours runs ranging from easy to difficult featuring numerous challenges and obstacles. A great opportunity to have fun for two, with friends or as part of a team.
Altmühltal Bob Riedenburg
The Altmühltal Bob Riedenburg will impress you with its 1000 m length, 7 steep curves, 6 jumps and 4 bends. The speed bob will race you down at the speed up to 60 km/h. If this is not enough, test your driving skills with a Quad. Open daily from April to October.
A sporty challenge that requires lot of expertise. Bouldering is climing without rope to the height of up to 4 meters. To avoid injuries while 'falling', the floors are covered with a thick foam mat. The Bouldering Hall b34 in Beilngries offers a big choice of climbing walls as well as a 'taster' course for beginners.
